The Transport Minister said the ministry has instructed the Land Public Transport Agency to conduct random checks at passenger carriages at the KTM Komuter, ERL, MRT, LRT Kelana Jaya lime and Monorail on Sunday .
"The checks also include MRT buses, as well as buses from Sunway Rapid Transit, Rapid KL, Rapid Kuantan and Rapid Penang since early Sunday morning."In conclusion, there was no congestion or overcrowding as the number of passengers is low. "The passengers adhered to standard operating procedures such as wearing face masks, practising physical distancing and using hand sanitiser," he said in a Facebook post on Sunday."So far, passenger capacity is still very low. We hope such the situation will be under control until Jan 26," he added.
