THERE is no basis to claim the Lynas Advanced Materials Plant in Gebeng, Kuantan can cause a similar chemical contamination to the on is Pasir Gudang, Johor, said its radiation safety general manager Prof Ismail Bahari. He added it is unfair to equate Lynas with the culprit behind the Sg Kim Kim contamination as the company has been operating under the watchful eyes of agencies, non-profit organisations and the public.
