Nintendo tells customers: no free upgrades for Switch buyers

This comes in light of news that Nintendo has upgraded the currentHowever, it now appears that the reports were false. Nintendo“We do not have a Nintendo Switch exchange program.

Some retailers in Malaysia have been advertising the updated model as the “new” Switch, but if you want to be sure, make sure that the device’s serial number begins with XKW, you’ll be getting the fresh model.
