City police chief Comm Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim said the three - a local, an Iranian and a Bangladeshi - were distributing drugs at nightclubs.
He said the City police and Bukit Aman conducted a special operation between July 15 and 17 and made 20 raids."The three men who were known as ‘nightclub doctors’ were picked up in one of the raids," he said in a statement on Tuesday . Comm Azmi said in total, they checked 10 karaoke joints, and 10 pubs and bars, and issued three summonses under Section 4 of the Federal Territories Entertainment Act for operating without a valid business licence.
"We also seized 1.46g of cocaine, 444.34g of methylenedioxy-methamphetamine powder, 21.82g of ketamine, 13.26g of ecstasy, and 2.76g of Erimin 5," he said.
