State Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah launching the Journal of Responsible Tourism Management in Kuching. - ZULAZHAR SHEBLEE/ The Star

is the first international journal in tourism and hospitality to be published in the state and edited by Sarawakians, with the first issue to be out next January. "The publication of this journal will put Sarawak back on the world map and enhance our destination image. At the same time, it will promote Sarawak and inform readers about how we can realise responsible tourism in the local context," Abdul Karim said when launching the journal here on Monday .
