Two healthcare workers in Kedah tested positive, while a clinic in Penang was disinfected.
The new cluster, called the Sungai cluster, involves two healthcare workers at a medical centre, health director-general Noor Hisham Abdullah said. “The two cases were admitted to Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital, Alor Setar, for isolation and treatment,” Noor Hisham said. Within a week, 66 other tests turned up positive, including a prison officer and a relative. The others were all detainees.The Sivagangga Cluster recorded 45 cases, Muda Cluster , Meranti Cluster and Kurau Cluster .
