As you are aware, through the social media and news portals, the Holy Father has announced a new administrator to oversee management change at Caritas Internationalis.

However, we will keep you updated once we have more details. We understand the new administrator is meeting with the Caritas International office bearers later today, Roman time.
Meanwhile, our work on the ground continues. We continue our service to the poor and marginalised. Every Caritas office is accountable to the local bishop, the diocese board, and at a national level to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference. This continues. Caritas International is not being shut down, but undergoing a leadership change. Let us pray ardently for the Lord’s peace, strength and light for all who are involved in this process and all who are affected - the workers, their families, the volunteers, benefactors and many others.
