Nepal jails former UN worker over child sex abuse

A FORMER United Nations worker has been jailed for sexually abusing children in Nepal, officials said today, following a trial underscoring the country’s growing appeal to foreign paedophiles. Canadian Peter John Dalglish, 62, a formerly high-profile humanitarian worker, was sentenced yesterday to two terms of nine and six years in two cases after being convicted last month.
