SEREMBAN: The Negri Sembilan government is appealing to those with information on illegal gambling activities in the state to report it to the authorities.

"Please be our eyes and ears and help us put a stop to such activities if you know it is happening around you.

"The police will keep your identity confidential," Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun told reporters after chairing the state exco meeting at Wisma Negri here.Aminuddin said he has not been briefed on this by enforcement authorities and urged them to take note of claims on Facebook that police were in cahoots with illegal gambling syndicates in Sg Buloh, Selangor.

Separately, Aminuddin said residents who live in Gedong Lalang 50, Taman Tok Wan and Taman Dusun Nyiur near here can now apply to the state government to convert the status of their properties from leasehold to freehold.
