Deputy Education Minister Mah Hang Soon says 169 projects have been completed so far. FMTNews Sarawak

Almost RM1.4 billion has been set aside to upgrade or build classrooms, hostels, administration buildings and other facilities for dilapidated schools in Sarawak.

Deputy Education Minister Mah Hang Soon said the allocation had been used to upgrade or build classrooms, hostels, administration buildings and other facilities. “In addition, 48 projects are still under construction and 74 others are in various pre-construction phases,” Mah said when replying to a question from Larry Sng Wei Shien .
