KUALA LUMPUR: Six Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia students charged with murdering and abetting in the murder of marine cadet officer Zulfarhan Osman Zulkarnain four years ago, have been found guilty of culpable homicide by the High Court here.
Justice Azman said based on the defence, the case was proven on the elements of Section 299 of the Penal Code instead. The six, together with 12 others, were also found guilty of voluntarily causing hurt to Zulfarhan to extort a confession from him over an alleged laptop theft.

My thoughts and prayers for his mother who will never see her son graduate. I also grief for the families of those young men who also suffer due to their children's actions. Hope this punishment may provide some closure for all parties concerned.
