KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The National Recovery Plan announced by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Tuesday (June 15) is timely in ensuring the government can implement a more structured plan to face the Covid-19 pandemic, says Assoc Prof Dr Muhammad Fathi Yusof.

The lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia's Perdana Policy Centre at the Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics said the plan was clear and could be used as a back-up for the government to achieve recovery from the pandemic.

Muhyiddin had announced the National Recovery Plan on Tuesday, which is believed to be capable of bringing life back to normal by the end of this year, including reconvening Parliament in September or October. However, he said the next four months, from July to October, would determine whether or not the plan would be able to restore normality in the lives of the people or at least bring about a relaxation of the various SOPs.

"In my opinion, these phases are crucial because the things to be resolved are big issues, logically they need to be gradual for the recovery period. To achieve herd immunity up to 80% requires time, but it must be admitted that vaccination needs to be expedited and economic recovery also needs to be accelerated, ” he said.

Probably by then the number of deaths coz of being depressed & bankrupt will be higher than actual Covid!

They must be joking

Please. Stop the nonsense now. The best recovery plan is for the backdoor PM to step down. He has failed miserably. KerajaanGagal KerajaanBodoh
