Menurut Muhamad Farhan, pihaknya menarik balik permohonan itu di atas alasan kes itu sedang dibicarakan dan permohonan tersebut telah pun dikemukakan sebelum kes bermula.Panel Mahkamah Rayuan diketuai oleh Datuk Abdul Rahman Sebli kemudian membenarkan permohonan itu selepas berpuas hati dengan penjelasan pihak pembelaan.
Najib, 66, berdepan tiga pertuduhan pecah amanah, satu pertuduhan salah guna kedudukan dan tiga pertuduhan pengubahan wang haram membabitkan dana SRC International Sdn. Bhd. berjumlah RM42 juta. Ahli Parlimen Pekan itu dituduh melakukan kesalahan itu di AmIslamic Bank Berhad di Jalan Raja Chulan dan di Pejabat Perdana Menteri di Putrajaya antara 17 Ogos 2011 dan 10 Februari 2015. - UTUSAN ONLINE
