KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 30 — Lawyer Datuk Hisyam Teh Poh Teik today indicated he might file a defamation lawsuit against Malaysian Bar president Karen Cheah Yee Lynn over her remarks about him in relation to Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s SRC International appeal.“Her press release of August 19, 2022 has attacked me and my legal team in the strongest of terms, a stance that is both mischievous and highly defamatory.
Najib instead on July 26 officially hired former law minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim’s law firm Zaid Ibrahim Suflan TH Liew & Partners as his lawyers for the SRC case. But after the Federal Court on August 16 refused to allow Najib’s legal team’s request to postpone the hearing of the final SRC appeal which had already been scheduled four months ago, Najib on August 19 abruptly discharged ZIST from acting as his solicitors.

Dan peguam pun kena nasihat anak guamnya untuk tidak membuat apa-apa kenyataan yang boleh mengganggu perbicaraan.

Close and be gone with. Good riddance Zaid & whatever teh-diva.
That's one way to endear yourself amongst the law fraternity alright. Salvage mode on.
Karen was carrying out her duties as bar president by ensuring that all attorneys, regardless of their experience level, perform honourably and ethically at all court proceedings.
Pls sue .
Hisyam Tin Kosong
Then sue without further reference as looked like something just brewing without progression...
There is always a price to pay when you blunder and you know it and yet you took the risk of destroying your credibility
Haha. And get the case heard before the very same courts you were commenting about?
