BEKAS perdana menteri Najib Razak memohon Mahkamah Persekutuan mendengar terlebih dahulu rayuan beliau berkaitan bukti baharu yang ingin dikemukakannya dalam kes membabitkan penyelewengan RM42 juta dana SRC International Sdn Bhd. Peguam Muhammad Shafee Abdullah, yang mengesahkan perkara itu, berkata ini kerana bukti tersebut mungkin mempunyai kaitan penting dengan rayuan utama Najib bagi membatalkan sabitan serta hukuman penjara 12 tahun dan denda RM210 juta terhadapnya.
