KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Najib Razak was jailed for 12 years and fined RM210 million after he was earlier today found guilty of seven counts of corruption in relation to RM42 million of SRC International funds.
High Court judge Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali sentenced the accused to 12 years jail and fined him RM210 million for abuse of power or an additional five years jail.He was exempted from whipping due to his age.The judge , however, ordered to jail term to run concurrently, which means Najib will serve 12 years in jail.
