KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 9 — Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has filed his appeal to the Federal Court seeking to overturn the Court of Appeal’s unanimous ruling that maintained his conviction, fine and jail sentence over the misappropriation of RM42 million of SRC International Sdn Bhd’s funds.
Wan Aizuddin Wan Mohammed, one of the many lawyers representing Najib confirmed that the filing was made yesterday.
Can we have the hearing next week, after all it's only on point of law, no more witnesses. Decision can be made within the next 2 weeks before we welcome 2022
