Najib, who has been a prominent figure in BN’s campaign, was addressing a crowd of some 1,000 people at Taman Pelangi here and praised PAS for its sincerity in helping BN’s quest to wrest Semenyih back from PBBM. He said the move to abolish tolls was nothing new, and that he too had abolished tolls when he was prime minister, including two tolls along the Cheras-Kajang Highway, and that he would have abolished more if BN had won GE14.A section of the supporters who turned up to hear Najib Razak speak.
Najib also reminisced on the extraordinary reception he got from the people of Semenyih who flocked to see him at the local Tesco a couple of weeks ago. He said some told him that as many as 8,000 people had turned up to see him.
