Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak says he does not see how Budget 2020 will please the people.
“From what I see, there will be new implementation of tax which includes Digital Tax. The aids provided for the civil servants are not that great as well. Overall, there is nothing to cheer about the budget,” he told reporters when met at the Parliament lobby, here today. “I fear the cost of living for the civil servants will increase because the aid promised by Pakatan Harapan is simply unacceptable. The salary increase for them more to one-off salary increment compared to what was promised by BN,” he added.
