Najib Razak dituduh menyalahgunakan kuasa peradna menteri, tiga tuduhan pengubahan wang dan tiga tuduhan pecah amanah dalam pemindahan RM42 juga daripada SRC International ke akaun bank peribadinya.
Beliau berkata ada tiga kemungkinan: Najib diperintah membela diri terhadap semua tuduhan, mahkamah membebaskannya, atau Najib bebas daripada tuduhan salah guna kuasa dan pecah amanah tetapi diminta menjawab tuduhan pengubahan wang.Najib dituduh menyalahgunakan kuasa perdana menteri dengan memberi jaminan kerajaan ke atas pinjaman RM4 bilion daripada Kumpulan Wang Persaraan kepada SRC International.
Thomas berkata Najib, antara lain, meluluskan jaminan kerajaan untuk SRC bagi memperoleh sejumlah pinjaman RM4 bilion daripada KWAP pada 2011 dan 2012. “CBT itu dirancang dengan baik dan dirancang terlebih dulu sejak beberapa tahun oleh tertuduh,” kata Sithambaram.
