Myanmar woman jailed for obtaining Covid-19 jab through impersonation

A MYANMAR woman who obtained her Covid-19 vaccination using the identity of another person was sentenced to 18 months’ jail by the Ayer Keroh Magistrate’s Court today.

Magistrate Muhammad Nazrin Ali Rahim meted out the sentence to 27-year-old That That Mar, an assistant at a food shop, who pleaded guilty to three charges. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription. Sign-up now and enjoy one week free access!
