PETALING JAYA: The Pakatan Harapan government is committed to national unity but is constantly being"lured" by the Opposition into engaging in racial and religious issues, says Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Mujahid Yusof.
"We are talking about ideals and practicalities and how to handle them carefully," said Mujahid to the media after a keynote address at the fifth annual conference of Persatuan Promosi Harmoni Malaysia at the Institute Of Advanced Islamic Studies here on Saturday . He also said that Pakatan emphasises a"compassionate state" that catered to everyone's beliefs and rights, despite upholding Islam as the official religion.
