Muhyiddin says Perikatan never received election funding from gaming companies

Perikatan chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said such accusations on the matter made by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim were serious accusations.

"We will not do such illegal things and will not accept even a cent of donation from any gaming companies," he said during a ceramah for the Padang Serai parliamentary election in Taman Selasih here on Monday . Muhyiddin added that the coalition had vowed not to practice such matters and took the allegation seriously.

On Monday, Anwar had hinted that part of Perikatan's funds for GE15 came from gaming companies involved in special draws.Its secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan regretted the allegations by Anwar and described it as baseless.
