Hajiji's nomination as Sabah CM shows close cooperation between GRS parties, says Muhyiddin

The Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia president thanked the leadership and all the assemblymen from Perikatan Nasional, Barisan Nasional and Parti Bersatu Sabah for agreeing to nominate Hajiji as the new Sabah chief minister.

"This agreement shows the close cooperation of the parties under GRS in the recent Sabah election that received the support of the people in the state. "I appreciate the camaraderie that was shown by the parties in this coalition for the sake of the interest and future of the people of Sabah. "I also pray that Sabah will continue to become a peaceful and prosperous state," said the Prime Minister in a Facebook post on Monday .

Earlier, GRS parties all agreed to name the Sulaman assemblyman as Sabah's new chief minister after a two-day discussion at Magellan Sutera Harbour following the conclusion of the state polls on Sept 26.Article type: metered
