The police will investigate the death of fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim thoroughly, says Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin .
"The government accepts the inquest's decision on Adib's death. We will leave it to the police to continue the investigation in accordance to rule of law," he said in a statement on his official Facebook page on Friday .Sessions Court Judge Rofiah Mohamad read her judgement after 41 days of proceedings where she sat as the coroner in the inquest.
The verdicts that could have been reached by the Coroner's Court were an open verdict, a verdict of misadventure, or death by persons or persons unknown.
