PETALING JAYA: A royal commission of inquiry must be formed to investigate the littoral combat ship project scandal, says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin .
The Perikatan Nasional chairman said the scandal involving losses in the billions of ringgit had also affected the Royal Malaysian Navy's ability to keep the country's territorial waters secure."The recent expose by former navy chief Tan Sri Dr Abdul Aziz Jaafar on his objection to the acquisition of this project through several letters sent to the former defence minister at the time has really surprised us," he said in a Facebook posting late Tuesday night.
