Muda is not a threat, says Umno Youth chief

The Umno Youth chief said that the Umno Youth was confident with their own strategy in wooing young voters.

"The pool of young voters is too big and I believe that we have our own advantages as we have divisions and branches at all levels. "We have over 500,000 active members and we have been keeping track of the new membership monthly," he told reporters at the Kledang Saiong Forest Eco Park here on Saturday .Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman had in December announced that the party had been registered.

In congratulating Muda for getting registered, Asyraf said Umno always welcomes new parties to be part of the democracy, as well as encouraging more youths in the political scene.
