First, we took three days to cross the 1,000 mark for Covid-19 deaths from 12,000 to 13,000, as the cumulative total of Covid-19 deaths yesterday was 13,077.
It is a mark of Malaysia catapulting to be one of the worst-performing nations in the Covid-19 pandemic that, when we marked our 63rd National Day on Aug 31 last year, we were ranked No 89 among nations with the most cumulative total of Covid-19 cases. At the rate of the present infections, Malaysia will deteriorate further and is likely to overtake Chile and the Czech Republic by Aug 31 to be ranked No 23 among countries with the most cumulative total of Covid-19 cases.
We grieve at the high cost of human toll and suffering which the Covid-19 pandemic has wrought, with the loss of over 13,000 lives and the high rate of suicides. There is also a high incidence of Death on Arrival , responsible for as many as one-third of the daily death rate in the 200-300 region. There are at present a quarter of a million people on treatment.
For all these Pas-Umno-BN-Bersatu-PH politicians, these 13,000 plus deaths are a necessary evil so that they can hang on to political power.
98% of cases are stage 1&2, isn't it a success? If ALL citizens positif Covid-19 BUT stage 1&2 it would be good, we have absolute resistance against d virus, very much better than the vaksin !
