Beliau juga mempertikaikan kesahihan dan hairan bagaimana berita berkenaan disiarkan tanpa merujuk kepadanya terlebih dahulu. "Seharian saya sibuk dengan aktiviti, berada di Jelebu kemudian di Kuala Lumpur dan terkejut apabila dapat panggilan daripada rakan-rakan bertanyakan keadaan diri saya," katanya ketika dihubungi Harian Metro.
Jalaluddin yang juga Pengerusi UDA Holdings berkata, beliau akan mendapatkan penjelasan daripada pihak akhbar terbabit dan motif sebenar akhbar berkenaan menyiarkan berita berkenaan. Akhbar berkenaan sebelum itu melaporkan, Jalaluddin juga Ahli Majlis Kerja Tertinggi UMNO dihantar ke Hospital Kuala Lumpur dari rumahnya di Kuala Klawang.
