The Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry pledged to take necessary action against a travel agency that allegedly duped hundreds of prospective Haj pilgrimages, who were left stranded at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport .
The ministry said that its enforcement team had communicated with the travel agency’s representative who informed them that those that were left stranded in the country will be reimbursed in stages and their passport will be returned back to them. — MOTAC July 8, 2022 The victims are encouraged to lodge a formal complaint to MOTAC through its Public Complaints Management System at motac.spab.gov.my and with the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia at ttpm.kpdnhep.gov.my to get their money back.
