More parents underestimating importance of MMR vaccine, says Lee

PARENTS tend to underestimate the importance of their babies getting the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine if they see that their children are healthy and developing well, said Dr Lee Boon Chye. The deputy health minister said the MMR vaccine included in the national immunisation schedule should be given to babies when they are 9 months old.
