Menurutnya, kehadiran pemimpin parti dalam Pakatan Harapan termasuk Mohamed Azmin pada sambutan ulang tahun itu adalah atas jemputan kepada pemimpin utama parti.“Azmin pun tidak buat apa-apa permohonan. Kalau ada permohonan, kita pertimbanglah,” kata Dr Mahathir yang ditemui selepas menyaksikan acara The Putrajaya Boat Race 2019, pertandingan mendayung perahu di Putrajaya hari ini.
