PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof was replaced as Dewan Rakyat Speaker because he was picked by the Pakatan Harapan administration, says Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong .“Mohamad Ariff was appointed during Pakatan rule. The same goes with the replacement of crucial positions such as the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner and Attorney General, ” he said in an Instagram post yesterday.
“This is so that all matters between Parliament and the government, as the executive body, go smoothly, ” he said.He also congratulated Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun, better known as Art Harun, for his appointment as the new Speaker yesterday.
