PETALING JAYA: The international community needs to mobilise humanitarian assistance for the Palestinian civilians trapped in Gaza, says the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia

"We vehemently stand for the protection and preservation of human dignity and rights for every individual, regardless of their race, religion or nationality, even in times of conflict," added Suhakam. It said that the destruction of public infrastructure in Gaza such as residential buildings and health facilities are serious violations of the laws and customs applicable in international armed conflict.
