The body was brought to Kapit town around 8am on Friday morning and handed over to the police, Sarawak Bomba said in its latest updates.
How he ended up in that situation was not explained, but the case is now being handled by the police. It took them six hours by boat and foot to reach the site where the contractor was last seen, after receiving the emergency alert on May 1 at about 7pm.
