Ministry says 3,391 households have received Bakul Prihatin Negara assistance so far

KUALA LUMPUR, July 19 — A total of 1,017 recipients from 3,391 households have received assistance from the Bakul Prihatin Negara aid programme initiated by prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on July 15.

Five districts that recorded the most recipients in the state are Baling with 59 people, followed by Kota Setar , Langkawi , Kubang Pasu and Pendang . The Prime Minister’s Office and the corporate sector have allocated and donated RM5 million and RM16 million respectively for its implementation throughout the country.

She hoped that the provision of food baskets would at least reduce the burden of those affected by the pandemic in Kedah, and prove that the government is always trying its best to ensure that affected Malaysians receive the assistance they need.

PM bakul

Hahahah ... Freakin jokers.... So proud of their menial achievements

3391 out of how many millions households? One time bakul will solve the problems of one family once and for all?

How long is one bakul going to last? Is it weekly or one time? Gov has successfully make the poor live on their mercy. Eat what is given. You hv no choice. cheap

Xde pn

This isn't a bakul, it's a kotak and I doubt it's filled to the brink. 🙊

That’s nothing to shout about. One man in Muar is more effective. One woman in Segambut is equally or more effective. This govt is habitually late and largely ineffective and act as if its caring and generous when in reality its fighting for its own political survival.
