Ministers to labour on May Day to submit policy papers to PM

CABINET members are working overtime tomorrow to present to Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad policy papers on how to create more jobs for the people, said Saifuddin Nasution Ismail The domestic trade and consumers affairs minister said this was decided at last week’s cabinet meeting, after Dr Mahathir indicated he wanted a meeting with the ministersthat was not subjected to time constraints.“When the people have jobs that give them an income, they can live in more comfort. This is very different from just giving them immediate aid, like the previous administration did.
