Ministers not seen during MCO, but they are working, says PM

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin says Defence Minister Ismail Sabri and director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah are the go-to people during the Covid-19 crisis, with other senior figures told to avoid making statements. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 25, 2020.

MOST ministers have not been seen or heard from during the movement control order , but they are working, said Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin. He said he had instructed Defence Minister Ismail Sabri and director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah to be the government’s spokesmen during the Covid-19 pandemic.
