MEXICO CITY, Aug 11 ― Top Mexican and US officials discussed increasing bilateral cooperation to address immigration during a meeting in Mexico City, the Mexican foreign ministry said in a statement yesterday evening.
After the gathering, Ebrard said on Twitter that Mexico's relationship with the United States was “going very well” and that the meeting had been “productive.” During their call, the United States agreed to send Mexico 3.5 million doses of drugmaker Moderna Inc's Covid-19 vaccine and up to 5 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, Ebrard said, noting that the vaccines would likely arrive in August.
