MENTERI Sumber Air, Tanah dan Sumber Asli Dr Xavier Jayakumar menyambut baik denda berjumlah RM1.56 juta terhadap dua pemburu warga Vietnam yang dijatuhkan hukuman di Mahkamah Sesyen Kuala Lumpur semalam. “Denda ini adalah yang tertinggi dalam sejarah Malaysia… Diharapkan hukuman ini akan menjadi penghalan bagi mereka yang mempunyai niat jahat untuk menganiaya hidupan liar demi keuntungan sendiri.” katanya dalam satu satu kenyataan di Twitter.
