MELAKA: The Melaka Immigration Department busted an illegal bird's nest factory during a late-night raid at a bungalow in Taman Sutera Emas, Krubong here.
Its state director, Anirwan Fauzee Mohd Aini, said the raid was conducted at 11.45pm on Friday ; 10 Bangladeshi men and two Myanmar women were caught working inside the house.Anirwan Fauzee said those detained were aged 35 to 51, and the premises did not have a licence to conduct business."Preliminary findings showed that a 42-year-old local woman rented the bungalow for RM2,000 a month and turned the premises into an illegal factory," he said.
