Kiko lives a charmed life now, and basically does as she pleases, every single day of her life. FMTNews Pet

Akiko was a tiny puppy when she was spotted whining and pacing anxiously by the roadside late one Saturday night. Saddened by the sight of the nervous pup, Kaanchana Rika Kumar and her family decided to pick her up.

Her papa buys her snacks every single morning. Throughout the day, others in the family spoil her with treats, morsels of meat and sometimes even rice, apart from her usual twice daily meals. “She also knows how to fix those adorable eyes on us when she wants something. Needless to say, we cannot resist her sweet face and give in to all her whims and fancies.”

Kiko may not be of thoroughbred stock but she is sharp as a whip, always quick to catch rats or chase frogs. A few years back, Kaanchana says, Kiko heroically warned the family about a snake that was curled up near the back door.
