Lack of donations and low ticket sales since the movement control order took effect have hit its operating costs.

The movement control order , which took effect on March 18, has also affected Zoo Negara as lack of donations and ticket sales forced it to utilise its emergency fund to cover operating costs.Ahmat Lana said, however, all animals in the zoo are healthy and in good shape.

Rosly said so far, no organisation had come forward to contribute to the Zoo Negara fund, which forced it to use its emergency fund to continue to operate during the MCO period.

KuNan got lots of pocket money. Just sayin'

Jinnyboy Done donate. Hope it will lighten the animals' and workers' burden🙏🏻

Get it from government la

Govt have RM250billion. Why cannot support zoo negara. Because the animals doesn't vote?

Kalau artis yg bising pasal dana artis tu boleh ah campak dorang dkt buaya or harimau atleast ada jgak makann

Lebih baik kita sedekahkan kat binatang dari sedekah kat artis 👍😉

Close the zoo. Animals should be free in their natural habitat. By now I am sure many would have realised what real freedom means..covid19 is nature's way of enlightening the human race that we are not the centre of everything..others are important too

How do you donate only if we don't want to adopt?

for me, human comes 1st

Time for humans to be locked up and animals to roam free instead.

jpmgov_ MOFmalaysia MuhyiddinYassin boleh guna kutipan derma dari tabung Covid19.

fahmi_fadzil 'The emergency fund is a provision specifically created by the management of the Malaysian Zoological Society for such unforeseen circumstances. According to Rosly, the fund is only sufficient to sustain the zoo’s operation for three months.'
