OTA KINABALU: Parents of tertiary students returning from campuses outside Sabah are urged to be cooperative when their children are asked to undergo quarantine for 14 days before being allowed to go home.

said parents and the returning students must understand that this is part of the government's effort to ensure that the spread of Covid-19 can be contained.

"This mass movement is risky and could potentially see a huge number of people getting infected with the virus," she said. Out of which, 7,200 will be returning from Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak while 1,700 will be moving inter-district.
