Yes, judges,do take CJ's advice into consideration. Fines&community service perhaps? This law (MCO) has never been implemented in Malaysia before, and many of the otherwise law-abiding citizens, may not have realised seriousness of breaking this law. Justice tempered with mercy?

Alhamdulillah. Jika eksekurif tidak peka, nampaknya mahkamah cenderung untuk jadi lebih adil. Undang2 digubal dengan tujuannya tersendiri. Nak cegah penyakit, buatlah cara nak cegah penyakit. Bukannya ikut cara cegah jenayah seperti dadah dsb.

We have lost common sense but I wouldn’t expect more because of years of mediocrity. That’s our real danger.

And yet the MCO offenders are not a criminal offense n there could be highly chances of being infected during the lockup.....please think twice.

Mandatory jail sentences should be reserved for those who insulted & challenged enforcement officers such as name calling, raising of voices, running road blocks etc.

Rubbish. Why in other parts of the world with 10 times or 20 times higher number of Corvid-19 cases, people can still open their businesses, sit in parks and play games? And why is that none of the tabligh cluster carriers haven't been charged in Court for avoiding arrest?

Release non violent offenders and foreigners without documents

Instead of jail or prison, why not community service? Say, mandatory voluntary works? syahredzan zaidibrahim MCO
