PETALING JAYA: The MCA Crisis Relief Squad (CRSM) Ayer Hitam Volunteer Fire & Rescue Team spent the new year distributing food boxes in preparation for possible floods, as well as visiting sick and seriously ill residents in Ayer Hitam.

MCA president Dr Wee Ka Siong who was part of the team, said the residents there were worried about floods due to the continuous rain in the area.

“It is raining heavily in Ayer Hitam. At this moment, I am visiting Kampung Manong, at Jalan Kluang Ayer Hitam together with my political secretary, Ling Tian Soon,” said Dr Wee in a Facebook post on Saturday . “Ayer Hitam constituents are worried because the rain is still falling continuously. We are always vigilant in the face of any possibility. Let us pray together for protection always," he said.
