Terdahulu, Ketua UMNO Bahagian Pulai, Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed meminta DAP menggugurkan tuntutan Malaysian Malaysia dan menggesa Pakatan Harapan menilai semula komitmen mereka termasuk menghapuskan sistem kuota Bumiputera.
