PETALING JAYA: MCA hari ini memutuskan untuk terus kekal bersama Barisan Nasional , selepas 2 minggu mengisytiharkan ia bersedia meninggalkan gabungan pembangkang berikutan kenyataan “perkauman” seorang pemimpin Umno.
“MCA percaya bahawa pentingnya wujud landskap politik yang demokratik, toleransi, kepelbagaian dan kesederhanaan sebagai satu pilihan yang patut dilaksanakan.Wee berkata, kerjasama salah satu rakan komponen BN, iaitu Umno, yang ketika ini bekerjasama dengan PAS, adalah suatu perkara yang tidak boleh dielakkan.
“Sedia maklum perbezaan ideologi politik antara PAS, MCA dan MIC merupakan perkara yang tidak dapat dinafikan. BN perlu hadapi situasi berkenaan dan seterusnya memastikan semangat dalam BN kekal terpelihara. “Manakala permuafakatan sebagai gabungan pembangkang harus diperhebatkan dan seterusnya dapat memainkan peranan semak dan imbang terhadap kerajaan pemerintah, khususnya dalam soal kebajikan dan ekonomi rakyat,” katanya.
MCA dan MIC adalah dua buah zakar yang dilekatkan pada zakar (UMNO)😀
