Maybank has confirmed via a reply on X that it is currently experiencing an intermittent service interruption on MAE, Maybank2u, and Maybank2u Biz. At the time of writing, many users have reported experiencing issues when completing transactions through card-based payments, QR Code, or online transfers.
Any attempts to access certain online services offered by the bank's Maybank2u platform will be prompted by a maintenance notice. Meanwhile, some users are also reporting experiencing issues when accessing the MAE app.In its latest post on X, Maybank says it is currently working to resolve the matter as soon as possible. No word on when the unscheduled maintenance will be completed.
Despite Maybank's update, some users are still reporting that they are unable to complete their payments through its card or online transfer methods.
