Helmed by Datuk Lee Tian Hock, the new team hopes the ministry will reinstate the licence of MMC and PHM as soon as possible as both facilities are “more than prepared” to resume operations.

The ministry sealed the premises that housed both facilities on Feb 14 after the management informed dialysis patients of the unit’s impending closure as it no longer had the funds to provide treatment or pay its staff. Lee, who is also Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd Group executive deputy chairman, said the EGM approved a resolution to allow Matrix Medicare Sdn Bhd to manage PHM and MMC once both entities obtain their operating licence from the ministry.“We will also pay PHM RM100,000 a month in rent for the first 10 years, RM115,000 a month the following 10 years, and RM132,000 a month in the ensuing 10 years.
